2013 Kearney Area Pagan Pride Day
This was the very first Kearney Area Pagan Pride Day. It was held on Sunday, October 20. It began at 2:00 pm and ended at 5:00 pm and was held at the Amphitheater at Cottonmill Lake State Recreational Area in Kearney, NE.
With 49 attendees, we celebrated our community with a group ritual, potluck meal, face painting, a fund-raising auction, and a bake sale. The event received good reviews and there was a lot of enthusiasm expressed for the future. We even got a bit of press after the actual event. Read the story in the online version of the Kearney Hub: Hahn Kinkade: Pagans are 'just like everyone else'.

Charity
Our charity wanted to remain anonymous in publicity but was announced at the PPD. We raised $106 for Kearney/Buffalo County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children) and had 3 attendees sign up to volunteer for the organization. A CASA representative was in attendance and had a small booth to share information.
Vendors
We didn't have vendors at the event but the following organizations were represented:
Workshops
We did not have any workshops.
Ritual
The ritual was led by a local Priestess and focused on creating a Pagan community that is unified and cooperative.
